Emma has an immensely varied background in the world of fashion and textiles. After graduating from university she spent a number of years as a freelance designer working with some of the country's leading couturiers and theatrical costumiers.

In 1997 The Tailor's Cat was set up to offer a service to other bridal outlets, including the production of a popular tiara and jewellery collection. A year later came the opening of the first boutique and the introduction of wedding dresses.

Today The Tailor's Cat is located in the heart of Cambridge and houses a large selection of stunning bridal gowns by designers including Ian Stuart, Jenny Packham, Pronovias, Suzanne Neville, Hollywood Dreams and Allure as well as special occasion wear, evening wear, ball gowns, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, tiaras, veils, intricate hair accessories, jewellery, bags and wraps.

Over the years Emma has built up an enthusiastic team offering a wide range of complementary creative skills. At The Tailor's Cat everyone is dedicated to providing a unique service, priding themselves on attention to detail.

Browsers are always welcome in the boutique. The bridal room is by appointment.
